Commercial Solar Benefits

How Solar can help your bottom line?

As of May 7, 2008, NYMEX crude oil so far this year is up 27% and is up 96% from a year ago. Natural gas, which is used to power much of the peaking power in NJ and the Mid-Atlantic, costs 45% more than it did early in 2007.

A representative from Goldman Sachs was recently quoted stating that the world may face a "super-spike" in which crude ranges from $150 to $200. According to Stephen Brown, an energy economist, "That would put oil at unprecedented price levels, even going back to just after the Civil War."  What will this do to your company?  How will this energy crisis affect your bottom line?

If you are like most companies, rising energy costs are causing concern over control of your operating expenses.  Believe it or not, you can gain back control through the installation of a solar power system.  Once installed, the power from the system costs you NOTHING.  It is FREE.  This allows you to properly plan your energy costs well into the future.  Don't be subject to the variances in world energy prices!

Excerpts from the Wall Street Journal, May 7, 2008:

  • In Maryland, for example, residential customers of BG&E will see a 7.6% increase in their bills in June.  Maryland commercial customers will be hit even harder with 27% to 41% price increases for the June through August period versus prices a year earlier.
  • In NJ, an energy auction in February resulted in power prices based on natural gas costs of about $8.50 per million BTU. But natural-gas prices projected for next year are about 30% higher showing more increases could lie ahead.

You have an option and we can help.

If you need to make the case to upper management, call us.  We can help build the case for why a solar power system will provide a tremendous benefit to your company.  We do it all the time.
