FREEHOLD, New JerseyTrinity Solar, a New Jersey based integrator of commercial and residential solar energy systems, today announced that it donated a solar power system to the Latif family in Middletown, Delaware. The family was featured in an episode of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" which aired March 30th on ABC. The electricity generated by the 5.25 kW solar power system will substantially lower the Latif familys energy costs and save them more than $20,000 over the next 25 years. The system, designed and installed by Trinity Solar, comprised of thirty modules and one inverter supplied by Conergy USA (www.conergy.com).
"We are pleased to be able to help the Latifs receive free electricity from the sun for decades to come," said Tom Pollock, Trinity Solars President. Hopefully, they will never have to worry about the rising costs of energy again.
"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," which has won back-to-back Emmy Awards as Best Reality Program (non-competitive), is in its 5th season on ABC. The program is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. Denise Cramsey is the executive producer; and David Goldberg is the president of Endemol USA.
